Effective 21 August 2026
Privacy policy
This page is the public privacy policy for Relay Ring on Android, published by 1 Million Women Strong. It matches the in-app policy.
1. Responsible entity, app, platform, and scope
1 Million Women Strong publishes Relay Ring for Android. This policy covers the app as installed on your device. Effective date: 21 August 2026. Postal contact: 450 S 400 E STE 262, Bountiful, UT 84010-5095.
2. Intended audience
Relay Ring is for adults practicing neighbor-support handoffs. It is not a child-directed product and is not a youth social network. If a child is part of a real-world situation, a responsible adult handles the next step outside the app.
3. Purpose and main functions
Relay Ring is an offline circle-practice studio. You open seven seats on a ring, study fifty-eight deep tokens (Seat / Pass / Fence plus hold, scene, checks, done, and slip), walk a seven-stop practice circle, and build a spoken script from canned asks. You may park one local sitting token. It is not a case manager, crisis line, matcher, messenger, donation portal, or live directory.
4. Data collected or transmitted, and data not collected
The app does not collect, transmit, or upload personal data. There is no account, analytics, advertising, cloud sync, or crash reporter. The app has no Internet permission.
5. On-device preferences and session state
The app may store the last opened seat, last card, last circle-walk step, last practice-ask id, and one optional sitting-token mark in local SharedPreferences on this device.
6. Sensitive records, youth records, and free-text notes
The app does not store health records, incident logs, attendance, youth profiles, or free-text notes about a person. Do not type names, addresses, or private facts into the sitting token โ the token is a station mark only.
7. Permissions
The app requests no dangerous permissions. It does not use camera, microphone, location, contacts, SMS, or storage access beyond its own local preferences.
8. Account, login, and account deletion
There is no account and no login. Nothing exists on a server to delete. Clearing the sitting token or uninstalling the app removes local state on this device.
9. Ads, analytics, tracking, telemetry, and SDKs
The app includes no ads, analytics, attribution, telemetry, or third-party tracking SDKs.
10. Sharing, disclosure, sale, and third parties
The app does not share, sell, or disclose user data to third parties because it does not collect user data.
11. External links, contact, and network behavior
The app does not open a network session. It does not send email or place calls. Publisher contact is by post at the address above until a publisher-controlled email is published.
12. Retention
Local preferences remain until you erase them, clear app storage, or uninstall. There is no server retention.
13. Deletion, backup, restore, and device transfer
Use House Pin โ Erase to clear the sitting token and last-seat marks. Android backup and device transfer are disabled for this app (allowBackup is off).
14. Security measures and limits
Content is bundled in the APK. Local preferences stay on the device. No method is perfectly secure; physical access to an unlocked phone can reveal local marks.
15. Children, families, and safeguarding
The app is not designed for children to operate. It does not create child profiles or pair adults with minors. Safeguarding stays with responsible adults and current local processes.
16. Health, wellness, and professional-advice limits
Relay Ring is educational practice, not medical, legal, or financial advice. It is not 911, 988, or emergency dispatch. If someone is in danger, use emergency or current local services.
17. Policy changes and user choices
If this policy changes, the in-app copy and the public policy page will share the same effective date. Your choices are: use the app offline, erase local marks, or uninstall.
18. Privacy contact
Write to 1 Million Women Strong, 450 S 400 E STE 262, Bountiful, UT 84010-5095. No publisher-controlled email is listed in this version. Do not send sensitive personal information by unsecured channels.
